It is everybody’s dream to have a house of their own and fill it with things they have dreamed of. Sometimes, dreams change shape and, by extension, the dream house. This is precisely the case with Mannat, Shahrukh Khan’s and Gauri Khan’s dream home.
Mannat is a luxurious house belonging to one of Bollywood’s most successful actors, Shahrukh Khan and his family. His wife, Gauri Khan, a highly creative interior designer, designed their dream home. But for at least two years from now, Mannat will be empty as the plans for renovations are soon to begin. While the house undergoes modifications, the Khan family moved to an apartment in Pali Hill, Bandra. Reports say that the monthly rent of flats in the apartment is nearly 24 lakhs.
What is happening to Mannat?
Gauri Khan, who has previously changed the interior visuals and aesthetics, has acquired permission from the MCZM (Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management) to make Mannat taller. Although not entirely, the renovations may change the exterior look and framework of the house. Once done, people will see the luxurious house with two additional floors.
While these architectural changes are underway, Shahrukh Khan and his family will live at the Pill House. The Red Chillies Entertainment, a company owned by SRK, has reportedly entered into a Leave and License agreement with Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh for four floors. These floors will be occupied by the Khan family, their security, and staff.
For Suhana Khan’s first film with her father, King, the father-daughter duo will travel from Bandra to the sets. This means that SRK sightings will be more limited than when he stayed in Mannat. Evidently, the actor is determined to reach new levels of professional and personal success in 2025.
