Weather Forecast: Many states like Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh are facing continues diverse weather conditions. Delhi and its surrounding states might see rain in the upcoming 48 hours. Although the temperatures have started rising, it has rained on Saturday, and Punjab, and Haryana have seen a drop in temperatures. Hailstorms were also reported from some areas of Haryana.
Weather Update for 16th march
Today, 16th March there is no big change in weather conditions. Indian Meteorological Department has warned about light rain in Delhi. Also, the weather will be mostly cloudy in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.
Rain Alert by IMD
As mentioned previously, Delhi people might get to see some rain today said IMD. Maximum temperature will reach 32 degrees and lowest will be around 12 degrees.
Rajasthan Weather Forecast
According to IMD light rain can be seen in some parts of Rajasthan. There is also a warning of hailstorms issued for some places. Temperatures might drop by 1-2 degrees due to rain. Areas like Bharatpur, and Dholpur will mostly get light rain.
UP and Bihar Weather Update
The Holi season has just finished but the temperatures in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are soaring high. According to IMD heat will intensify more and likely to reach 40 degrees in day time. No rain forecast has been issued so far.
Weather Forecast for the Northern Region
Northern regions like Kashmir have witnessed snowfall in many areas on Saturday. IMD says people can still enjoy snowfall on Sunday 16th March in areas like Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Shopian, Pulwama, and Pahalgam. Also, in Himachal Pradesh, Lahaul and Spiti will get snowfall today. There is a chance of slight rain with snowfall in places like Chamba, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla, and Kangra. So, tourists who are visiting these places now can enjoy the white snowy weather.
