War 2 Movie Review
War 2 had a steady start at the box office with about ₹29 crore net on day one, but it showed strong recovery on Independence Day. The Hindi version collected around ₹43–45 crore net on day two, taking its two-day total close to ₹73 crore. Reports also suggest that overall collections across languages touched over ₹100 crore in just two days, with the day two figure being ₹56.50 crore. The holiday boost and better evening shows in big cities added to the jump, while single screens also performed well in mass areas. However, the Telugu version is showing a dip in turns of collection. Despite mixed reviews from critics and audiences, the film’s growth is impressive.
Rating on Different Platforms
The movie ‘War 2’ has 6.5 stars out of 10 on the movie rating platform IMDb, with more than 18k reviews. On the other hand, it has secured a solid 8.3 rating out of 10 on the movie ticket booking website, BookMyShow, with more than 71K votes. However, TOI has rated the movie 3 out of 5 stars.
Casting Fees of War 2
As one of the big-budget films of Bollywood, War 2 has impressive casting fees. Hrithik Roshan got Rs 50 upfront as his acting fees and potentially Rs 100 cr in profit sharing. Whereas Jr NTR was paid Rs 70 crores for his acting. Kiara Advani charged Rs 15 crores for her film and Anil Kapoor charged Rs 10 crores.
War 2 OTT Release Date
