The first movie was released back in 2019, and then the sequel came. As of today, the movie has made over Rs 227.26 crores, but it’s struggling to cross the Rs 250 crore mark. As the second weekend continues, the movie War 2 closes the gap with Rs 250 Crores at the Indian Box Office. Already, it has made over Rs 227 crores on the 13th day and counting. Revenue is expected to jump today as Ganesh Chaturthi is there, and also a weekend surge in bookings can be expected. Here’s the day-wise collection report,

This shows us that in the very first week, the movie made over Rs 204 crores in collections. Where the majority of the collections came from the Hindi version. In the second week, collections are looking weaker. Yesterday, revenue was 2.76 cr, where the Hindi version alone made Rs 2.5 Cr.
OTT Release Dates
Reports say, War 2’s digital streaming rights have been purchased by Netflix. So OTT lovers can watch Hrithik & Jr. NTR’s action once it releases on Netflix. No official dates were confirmed, but it is likely to be released between 25th September to 9th October 2025.
