Chief Minister MK Stalin immediately ordered a high-level probe and has visited the victims. The government announced a compensation of ₹10 lakh for each bereaved family. Over 60 doctors from different districts were rushed to Karur to treat the injured. Forensic experts joined efforts for a smooth and swift response.
