South Superstar Ajith Kumar’s much anticipated film Vidaamuyarchi has has been released in theaters. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni the movie features Trisha Krishnan with Ajith Kumar. As per sacnilk’s report, the film has collected somewhere around Rs 22 Crore on the very first day. Then on Dat 2 or today, it has managed to get Rs 1.12 Crore. The numbers are not that much promising currently but as the weekend approaches a revenue jump is expected.
Storyline
In this movie Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan an Indian couple go on a trip to Azerbaijan. Where some unsettling thing happened. The wife goes missing or to be precise gets kidnapped by a notorious gang. Then the husband starts a frantic search. He did complain to the police but they were not very supportive. Also, there is an unknown villain who is constantly creating obstacles in the way of finding Kayal (Trisha).

As per the report the movie ‘Vidamuyarchi’ is made with a budget of Rs 200 Crore. Out of which Ajith Kumar alone took Rs 105 Crore as his acting fees. This made him one of the highest paid actors in the Tamil film industry. Trisha Krishann who played the lead actress role took Rs 6 crore as her acting fees. Apart from these two stars Regina Cassandra got Rs 1 Crore, Arjun Sarja got Rs 5 crore, actress Ramya Subramanian got Rs 40 lakh and Nikhil Nair also got Rs 40 Lakh for Vidamuyarchi movie.
Review
Vidaamuyarchi is a fresh take featuring Ajith Kummar in a vulnerable role. Movie mainly focuses on the marital relationship and thrilling action. Ajith’s performance and cinematography are praised by viewers and critics. But some find pacing little slow and climax was rushed. Overall its a mass hero film says most netizens.
