The title of the fourth part of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man franchise was announced. The director, Destin Daniel Cretton, shared a few “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” details at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. The director said that the shooting will begin later in the summer and that they plan to release it on 31st July 2026.

Spider-Man Tom Holland couldn’t attend the Sony event, so he sent a video thanking his audience and saying that Brand New Day is a “fresh start” to the franchise. In the video, the actor expressed his regret at being unable to attend the event as he was filming another movie in a different country. Tom Holland said the Brand New Day will pacify the cliffhanger that occurred at the end of No Way Home, and he is keeping himself from revealing any spoilers.
Destin Daniel Cretton shared how excited he and his team were to explore the new character plots and the storyline. He expressed his eagerness for the suit and the stunts. He said that he and his team of designers and creators “nerd over” the suit daily to capture the iconic swings. Destin indicated that the storyline would be a little emotional and promised the audience that Brand New Day would be “a ride that we haven’t really seen before.”

Peter Parker’s friends, MJ and Ned, played by Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, might resume their roles in the movie. Rumors suggest that Sadie Sink has joined Spider-Man this time. Although her character is yet to be disclosed, there is a chance that she will assume the role of the X-Men mutant Jean Grey.
Tom Holland is filming with Christopher Nolan and Matt Damon for Nolan’s next directed film, The Odyssey.
