Stock Market Plunge: Sensex Drops 2%, Investors Lose ₹10 Lakh Crore

Share Market Highlights: On October 3, Indian stock markets faced a significant downturn, driven primarily by escalating tensions in the Middle East and the implementation of new Futures and Options (F&O) rules. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex plummeted by 1,769 points, while the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty fell by 547 points, closing at 25,250. This sharp decline wiped out more than ₹9.5 lakh crore in investor wealth, reinforcing the volatile nature of the market.
