The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is poised to release the admit cards for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havildar (CBIC and CBN) Exam 2024 very soon. As the exam date approaches, starting on September 30 and continuing until November 14, candidates are encouraged to check the status of their applications, as SSC has begun updating application statuses for applicants. This step ensures that candidates know whether their applications have been accepted or rejected before the admit card release.

Important Details about the SSC MTS Exam 2024

This year’s examination process will consist of a Computer Based Test (CBT) and will be conducted over two sessions on the same day. The duration for each session is 45 minutes, allowing candidates to showcase their knowledge and skills effectively.

The questions in the examination will follow an objective multiple-choice format. Notably, the General Awareness section will be available in multiple languages, including Hindi, English, and 13 regional languages, ensuring accessibility for all candidates. It’s important to note the marking scheme varies between the two sessions; while there is no negative marking in Session I, Session II will impose a penalty of one mark for each incorrect answer.

Selection Process for SSC MTS 2024

The recruitment process encompasses a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST), which are applicable only for the Havildar position. This year, a total of 9,583 vacancies are available, with 6,144 reserved for Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) and 3,439 designated for the Havildar post.
