Snow White is Disney’s new recreation. The movie was released on 21st March in Indian theatres, and its box office collection only collected 3 crores so far. On day 4, 24th March, Snow White Box Office Collection dropped significantly from the release day. The box office reported only 0.55 crores.
For many years, Disney has been recreating and retelling the stories of the popular characters, the seven princesses. The movies’ focus had always been to show the princesses as strong women as opposed to the original, which shows them as docile and fragile.

Snow White Reviews
Disney movies are liked by children and adults; “Disney Magic” is enthralling and leaves with an experience like never before. Most Disney movies are like that, but sadly, according to people’s reviews, Snow White isn’t the typical ‘Disney Magic.’
One reviewer wrote: “It looks and feels so artificial, the sets, the animals, as for The Dwarves themselves, I have no words to express my feelings there.”
Another wrote: “Rachel Zegler, who takes on the iconic role of Snow White, delivers a performance that feels stiff and uninspired…her acting lacks the warmth and charm that made the animated Snow White so beloved. Her line delivery often comes off as forced.”
While many feel Snow White and Rachel Zelger let the audience down, a few don’t see it that way. A person wrote, “I have to say this new but still familiar take on the classic story was a feast on the eyes and especially the ears.”
Another wrote, “As a whole, it is an improvement over the almost literal live action remakes of some of the other Disney animation classics. By updating the story, yes, being “woke”, the 2025 version of Snow White justifies its existence.”
