Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has sent a strong message to Pakistan after its recent military build-up near the Sir Creek border. He said if Pakistan tries any misadventure, India will give a robust reply that could change history and geography.
Rajnath Singh’s Stern Warning
Singh addressed the nation during Shashtra Pujan in Gujarat. He accused Pakistan of stirring up the long-standing Sir Creek dispute. He explained that India has tried many times to resolve the issue peacefully, but Pakistan’s intentions are not clear. The expansion of Pakistani military infrastructure close to Sir Creek has raised serious concerns for India’s security.
Border Dispute Continues
For 78 years, the Sir Creek dispute has remained unresolved. Singh highlighted how Indian forces—the Army and BSF—are together protecting the nation’s borders. He warned that any wrong move by Pakistan in Sir Creek will get a strong response. Singh recalled the 1965 war, reminding that Indian soldiers had once reached Lahore, and now “one route to Karachi passes through the Creek”.
Operation Sindoor: India’s Decisive Move
The Defence Minister also mentioned Operation Sindoor. Singh said Pakistan tried to attack Indian defence from Leh to Sir Creek, but failed. Indian forces exposed weaknesses in Pakistan’s air defence and proved they can deal heavy losses to the enemy whenever needed.
India’s Commitment to Security
Singh reassured that India is vigilant along the border. The government remains dedicated to ending cross-border terrorism. Troops stationed in Bhuj were appreciated for their service. Singh emphasised that India fights for justice, not conquest, and will never hesitate to defend its territory.
Why Sir Creek Matters
Sir Creek is a 96-km-long marshy strip between Gujarat and Pakistan. It is considered sensitive because of its location and the long-standing maritime boundary dispute. The area is vital for both security and access to resources.
Final Message
India is monitoring every movement near Sir Creek and is prepared for any situation. Rajnath Singh has made it clear that border security is the top priority. If Pakistan tries any aggression, India is ready for a decisive response that the world will remember.
