The event marked 100 years of the RSS. Modi praised the organisation’s nation-first spirit. He said RSS volunteers have served selflessly for decades. The PM released a commemorative ₹100 coin and postage stamp. This is the first time Bharat Mata appears on Indian currency. The coin shows her seated on a lion with swayamsevaks bowing. The stamp features RSS cadres in the 1963 Republic Day parade.
