Guru Shihan Hussaini was India’s unprecedented talent in karate, archery, sculpting, acting, and many other artistic fields that have passed away today. Guru Shihan was battling blood cancer and revealed his struggles earlier this month. His family confirmed the news and said that the karate and archery guru left his last breath at a private hospital in Chennai this morning.

Guru Shihan Hussaini trained the actor, now Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, since the actor’s childhood. Tamil actor Vijay was his disciple for the duration of the movie Badri. Among his many brightest records, leading South Korea’s archery team to Gold at the Rio Olympics will always stand on a pedestal above.

The legendary teacher will forever be remembered in history, not just for his unparalleled skills in martial arts but also for his endurance, discipline and dreams. Guru Shihan always dreamed of spreading the beauty of martial arts and sports in the country. He ran a Karate dojo that had several students.  

Guru Shihan’s passing leaves a void in India’s martial arts and sports journey. May his soul find peace and his family and dear ones find strength and comfort during this difficult time.
