Cuttack: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced the results of the Odisha Civil Services Examination 2022, revealing that a total of 683 candidates have successfully cleared the examination. The final results were released on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Swetashree Mohapatra has emerged as the top candidate, followed closely by Prinkil Parbin Parida and Dipti Ranjan Pati, who secured the second and third positions, respectively.

Notably, five women have made it to the top ten list of successful candidates, reflecting a positive trend in women’s participation in civil services. In total, 258 women candidates qualified for the examination, showcasing their determination and capability in a competitive field.

Selection Process Overview

The candidates were selected based on their performance in the main written examination and subsequent personality test. Successful candidates will be appointed to various posts and services under the Odisha Civil Services (Group-A and B) for the year 2022. Candidates can check their results on the official OPSC website at www.opsc.gov.in, as stated in a press release from the Commission.

Examination Statistics

The examination process saw a significant number of applicants, with 92,914 candidates submitting applications. Out of these, 40,586 appeared for the preliminary examinations held on October 15, 2023. A total of 8,220 candidates cleared the preliminary stage, leading to 6,639 participants who took part in the main examinations conducted from February 25 to March 3, 2024. Ultimately, 1,367 candidates were called for the personality test.
