OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch of its highly anticipated flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 15. The phone is set to debut in China on October 27, 2025, with a global rollout, including India, expected in early 2026. This new flagship promises major upgrades in both design and performance, making it a much-anticipated device for tech lovers in India and worldwide.
Strong Build with Aerospace-Grade Design
The OnePlus 15 comes with a stunning new color called Sand Storm. Its aluminium frame receives an industry-first micro-arc oxidation treatment, creating a ceramic coating that makes the frame 3.4 times harder than regular aluminium and tougher than titanium. The rear panel features a smooth fibreglass texture, giving the phone a premium and durable feel.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Top Performance
At the heart of the OnePlus 15 is Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, built on a 3nm process. This processor delivers big boosts in speed and multitasking power. Early benchmarks show impressive scores, outpacing even Apple’s top chip in multicore performance. This means smoother gaming, fast app switching, and efficient power use. Alongside, OnePlus is adding a new cooling system to keep the phone running cool during heavy use.
Display and Battery Highlights
The device features a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED screen with an ultra-smooth 165Hz refresh rate. An LTPO panel lets the phone lower refresh rates to save battery life when high refresh rates are not needed. Speaking of battery, the OnePlus 15 packs a large 7,000mAh battery with ultra-fast 120W charging, allowing quick power-ups for long hours of use.
Camera and Software Upgrades
For camera enthusiasts, the OnePlus 15 abandons the Hasselblad partnership and introduces its own DetailMax Engine. The triple camera setup includes three 50MP sensors—main, telephoto, and ultra-wide—offering sharp and versatile photo capabilities. The new AI-powered engine promises improved photo details and color accuracy.
Expected Price and India Launch
In India, the OnePlus 15 is expected to launch in early 2026 with a price tag around Rs 70,000 to Rs 75,000, aligning closely with its predecessor, the OnePlus 13. The company is yet to reveal an official date or final pricing, but the buzz around this new flagship is already building among Indian tech fans and gamers.
