L2 Empuraan maintains its collection streak in crores despite slight dips in the earnings last week. The movie made 90 crores in 9 days, and gathered a total of 91.2 Crores so far. Based on Sachnilk’s reports, it already earned 0.05 Crores today, on Day 10. If all goes well over the weekend, L2 Empuraan may announce its entry to the 100 Crore Club very soon.

L2 Empuraan was released in several international theatres, and its collections stand strong. The movie broke Mollywood’s records with its 250 crores worldwide collection and became the highest-grossing Malayalam film. Empuraan took over the record from Manjummel Boys, which earned 225 Crores globally. Empuraan’s makers celebrated this milestone on X and expressed gratitude for all the love and support.
In the initial days, critics and fans suspected a box office clash between Sikander, Salman Khan’s Eid release and Empuraan. Theatrical releases of two of the most anticipated films of 2025 were bound to impact each other’s box office, or so we thought. Evidently, both the movies have independent milestones and fan bases, but their parallel screening didn’t keep Empuraan from breaking records and setting new benchmarks.

Before Kureshi returns to Kerala, we learn about his past, friendships, and struggles before he took on the name Kureshi A’braam. Later, the movie reveals Khureshi’s plans to upend Jatin as CM.
