L2 Empuraan Box Office Collection has been breaking records with its advance bookings and first-day opening in the Kerala movie industry. According to Sachnilk, the second day at the box office ended with an impressive 11 crores in its bag. Although it is down from the first day’s high of 22 crores, the film has already bagged 32 crores from all languages in its first two days (Thursday and Friday). Earlier estimates report that Empuraan made ₹ 0.64Cr today (the number is subject to change as the day progresses).
Also, You will be surprised to know worldwide box office collection for L2 Empuraan has already crossed Rs 100 Crore in just two days of opening. This is the 10th Malayalam film to achieve this.

Lucifer Part 3 Title Revealed
Since the first part’s release in 2019, the makers teased the audience about the trilogy. The fans were eagerly waiting for Empuraan, and their wait was worth it; Empuraan delivered the characters and story with the perfect screenplay and cinematography. The second part left the audience wanting more, and Sukumaran heard his fans’ desires. He announced the title of the last part of the Lucifer series, ‘Lucifer: The Beginning.”
Empuraan became a benchmark in the Malayalam movie industry with its occupancy rates and box office collections. The announcement of the final part is building more buzz around Empuraan. Nothing about the shoot dates, the release year, changes or developments in the cast have been revealed.
About L2 Empuraan: Story and Cast
Written by Murali Gopy, Empuraan is the second part of the Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer. We see the story unfold from the perspective of Steven Nedumpally, the protagonist of the story. Against a thrilling political drama, Empuraan explores Steven’s past and how he came to be of the name ‘Khureshi Abraham.’ To continue from the end of part 1, the movie also shows the aftermath encircling Kerala politics with Steven’s departure.
The entire trilogy will be directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. Although the first part was only produced by Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvad Cinemas, producers Gokulam Gopalan from Sree Gokulam Movies and A. Subaskaran of Lyca Productions joined him for Empuraan’s production.
The movie has excellent Indian and international talent: Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Abhimanyu Singh, Saikumar, Baiju Santhosh, Eriq Ebouaney, Jerome Flynn, and Suraj Venjaramoodu in key roles.
