L2 Empuraan is the first Malayalam movie to achieve this feat in just 5 days.

On day 7, Sachnilk reported that the movie already gathered 0.05 crores. If this trajectory persists, it won’t be long before Empuraan reaches the 100-crore mark. It is likely for the film to hit the bar this week.

About L2 Empuraan: Story and Cast

The story begins five years after the first part, Lucifer. When Jatin accepts the CM’s throne, he is consumed by greed for power, taking Kerala’s politics onto corrupted routes. His greed makes the state vulnerable to political attacks from other parties while the consequences fall on the commoners. This helpless situation only reminds people of Lucifer’s absence, the man also known as Khureshi Ab’raam. The story takes us into Steven’s past (Khureshi’s other name). It explains his journey from Steven Nedumpally To Khureshi Ab’raam and the role his friends and close ones played.

Written by Murali Gopy and directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, Empuraan was jointly produced by Aashirvad Cinemas, Lyca Productions, and Sree Gokulam Movies. Alongside Mohanlal, Prithviraj, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Abhimanyu Singh, Jerome Flynn and others play defining and crucial roles.
