Kesari Chapter 2: The teaser of Akshay Kumar’s Kesari Chapter 2 is out, and the seconds-long video will raise goosebumps all over. Kesari Chapter 2 is not related in the story to 2019’s Kesari, which also stars Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra in lead roles, but relates to it in spirit. Kesari Chapter 2 is the story of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre.

The video begins with a blank canvas screaming as a British Officer yells, “Fire!” The blank canvas emphasizes the brutal and merciless violence of the Jallianwala Bagh. The first few seconds of the blankness show that although we didn’t witness the ruthlessness of the day, history will never forget it.
Only Akshay Kumar appears in the teaser as the lawyer C. Sankaran Nair, a lawyer who fought for the truth of the Jallianwala Bagh to come to light. The comments are already praising Akshay Kumar for the portrayal of his character. People say he perfectly embodied the feelings of the freedom struggle and displayed it in the few-worded profanity aimed at the Colonial British Government.
Kesari Chapter 2 Release Date and More
Initially, the movie release was planned for Holi; however, the makers shifted the date. Kesari Chapter 2 will be released on April 18th.
The first Kesari (2019 was made on an approximate budget of 80 crores. Although the official budget is not out yet, a few rumours ballparked the budget of Kesari Chapter 2 to be 100 crores or more.
Fans eagerly wait for the patriotic film to reach the theatres. It looks like Bollywood is on a spree to uncover and retell Indian history in the early months of 2025 at least.
About Kesari Chapter 2: Cast
The story is based on a book by Pushpa Palat and Raghu Palat titled The Case That Shook The Empire. The movie was made under the banner of Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films, and Leo Media Collective.
Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, Kesari Chapter 2 has talented actors Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan, and Ananya Panday. We are yet to see what roles Madhavan and Nanaya Panday play in the film. The roles of British government officials are played by Sammy Jonas Heaney, Steven Hartley, Mark Bennington, Michael O’Dwyer, Alexx O’Nell, Ed Robinson, and Carl A. Harte.
