Today, Monday 14th April is Ambedkar Jayanti. So, Trading activities will not happen and the market will remain closed. The Equity and derivatives market will remain closed.
As per the Holiday Calender, trading in currency derivatives will also remain closed. It will resume operations from 15th April 2025. However, the commodities market will have a half-day holiday today. The commodity derivatives segment will remain closed in the morning session but will be opened for the evening session.
This means trading for Gold, Silver, Crude Oil and other commodities will happen today but after 5 pm. As the 9am to 5pm morning market will be closed today. After that 5pm to 11.30 / 11.55 segment will remain open.
