The weekend boosted the collections, gathering 19.75 Crores on Saturday and 22.3 Crores on Sunday. The momentum repeated its dip on Monday with only 14 Crores in collection.
Although the figures fluctuate and seem to drop by the day, people still visit theatres to watch Good Bad Ugly. One can see that the mixed reviews didn’t colour the enthusiasm and curiosity of Ajith Kumar’s fans. The movie was released in all languages across the country, and the Tamil language witnessed the highest occupancy all these days.
Good Bad Ugly was allegedly made on a 270–300 crore budget. It is too early to say if Indian theatres alone can retrieve the earnings spent for the makers and the cast and if there will be any profits.
About Good Bad Ugly: Story And Cast
The story begins when a well-known Criminal lord and a gangster called Red Dragon is released from prison. The atrocities he was a part of compelled his wife to convince him to turn himself in. The Red Dragon considers the threat he poses to his family and volunteers to go to prison. After getting out, he resolves to correct his ways and stay away from his old self. Circumstances, however, tempt and threaten to break his determination. It remains a question of how far The Red Dragon will go to keep himself from fighting or if he will go back to being a gangster his family hates, for his family, and what this means for his relationship with his wife.
