Good Bad Ugly is Ajith Kumar’s latest Tamil film, released yesterday, on 10th April. The first day ended with a grand opening, collecting Rs. 28.50 crores at the box office. The second day of the movie is in full swing as fans crowd the theatres to watch AK’s charm and energetic swag in his 63rd film.

The movie was released in all languages in India. Yet, the Tamil language was the highest scorer, contributing 27.5 crores to the film’s first-day earnings. Although the producers, Mythri Movie Makers, expected the Telugu theatres to react in the same ballpark, the earnings from Telugu theatres were very low. With just over a crore on its first day, Good Bad Ugly is expected to do better in Telangana and AP over the weekend.
Good Bad Ugly is Ajith Kumar’s 63rd film. To mark this achievement, the film was titled AK63 during its shooting. The makers changed it to Good Bad Ugly before releasing the teasers and the trailers.

Storyline
Ajith Kumar’s character is a crime lord with a villainous charm. The move begins when he is released after eighteen years of imprisonment. In hopes of starting a new life, he seeks his family to rekindle his relationship with his son.
But, as a surprise to him, his release triggers a chain reaction that leads to gun wars, chases, betrayals, mysterious twins, and a malicious conspiracy. AK must fight them all to protect his family and himself from returning to prison.
Good Bad Ugly Review
Like the movie’s title, fans and critics expressed mixed emotions about the film. Ajith Kumar’s hardcore fans loved the movie as it contained dialogues, scenes, and references from AK’s older films. It also celebrated the lead actor’s fame, looks, and stardom. It was a “fan feast” and “fan service,” people said. While a few loved Good Bad Ugly for its nostalgia, others hated it. They pointed out the lack of a solid story, plotlines, character depth, and shaky foundations of the film. They wished directors didn’t monetize on people’s love for actors.
