Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav is facing huge criticism. This is because of his comment about Bigg Boss 18 participant Chum Darang. His remarks started an outrage on social media, and now he responds back.
What Elvish Said?
Recently Elvish was on a podcast with Bigg Boss 18 contestant Rajat Dalal. There he questioned Karan Veer Mehra’s interest in Chum. Elvish also made remarks that her name was vulgar. This started the controversy and criticism. Netigens started commenting that Elvish’s remark was disrespectful. Some of them also demanded action against him.
Explanation by Elvish Yadav
After facing a huge backlash on social media Elvish has responded. He said, ‘Maine Chum ke upar kuch bol rakhha that. Maine Kaha main bola ya nehi hatao, mujhe negativity chahiye hi nehi. Agar kisiko kharap lag raha hai mere bolne see toh bhai wo part meine remove kar diya’. He also added, ‘kitne bewakoof log hai jinko samajh nehi aa raha. Wo log bol rahe hai elvish ne covid bol diye so he is relating Chinese wich chum. Karan ko shayad covid ho geya hai, jo usko taste, smell chali gyi toh chum pasand aa gaya’.
After all this explanation he did remove the part from that video. But the internet isn’t going to forget it easily. So, the controversy might not end here. After this, some users also said though Elvish realised his actions were wrong he didn’t apologize. He also advised others to be understanding and empathetic avoiding such actions.
Chum Darang’s Reaction
All tough social media has been outraged over Elvish’s remarks, but no reaction from Chum Darang has been given. Currently, she is in Arunachal Pradesh. A rumor about Chum and Karan Veer Mehra’s marriage was spread. Which she denied and clearly said both of them were good friends only.
