Chhaava is nearing 30 days since the theatre release, and Box Office Collections have been persistent. On day 27, Chhaava’s net total at the Box Office earned Rs. 4.75 crores and reached 535.55 crores. Early estimates of day 28 on Sacnilk say that the movie collected 0.18 crores.
With these numbers, historical films have successfully crossed some of the best-performing Indian cinemas.

Though the collections are decreasing daily, the earnings are still in crores. Chhaava, clearly, isn’t done with being in theatres. With the long weekend ahead (Holi+Saturday and Sunday), theatres and movie houses will be filled, likely boosting the movie’s box office.
Chhaava has already surpassed all of Vicky Kaushal’s films. But did you know its collections crossed other Indian Film giants like Animal, Pushpa 1, Bahubali 2 and Gadar? The movie had left people in tears, sparking patriotism, and it triggered a flow of appreciation and praise. Chhaava has already made it into the list of ‘2025’s Best.’ Still, it remains to be seen if it can protect its position in the future as more and more movies from all over the country enter theatres. About Chhaava, Story And Cast.
Based on a Marathi novel by Shivaji Savant, titled Chhaava, the film was directed by Lakshman Utekar under the banner of Maddock Films. The book and the movie present the days and the lives of the Maratha empire after Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s death. It shows his son, the second Maratha emperor, Chhatrapati Shambaji Maharaj, who was the son of Chhatrapati and led a war against the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb and Shambaji Maharaj.
Actors Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna are in lead roles, while Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, and Diana Penty play supporting yet pivotal roles.
