Released on 10th April, Bazooka is enjoying its fight day in theatres today. With its new concept, Bazooka gained 9 Crores in four days at the box office. According to Sachnilk, the movie collected 0.01Cr in the initial hours today.

The weekend didn’t work in Bazooka’s favor. The movie saw a drop in earnings, and critics predict that the decline in earnings will only continue. With only 2 Crores on Saturday and 1.88 Crores on Sunday, the game-thriller may not recover the 28 crores budget spent on making the film from domestic theatres. Bazooka’s worldwide collections may hit 13 crores soon, performing better than expected in the international theatres.
Bazooka Reviews
Bazooka marked Deeno Davis’s debut as a director and a screenplay writer. He said he directed due to Mammootty’s encouragement and support. While a few fans say that Deeno Davis made a decent film for the first time, a few disagree and say that his raw direction overshadows the plot, confusing the storyline.
A reviewer said, “The plot is predictable and lacks emotional depth, with clichéd dialogues and underdeveloped characters. The film’s pacing suffers in the second half, and the twists are too obvious.” Another commented, “It was a good and super thrilling movie. The story kept me hooked from start to finish.”
About Bazooka: Storyline
Bazooka follows an unnatural partnership formed between a police officer and a businessman to catch a serial killer who gets his ideas of crime from video games. The police officer and the businessman plan traps and schemes to avoid staying two steps behind, but the criminal outsmarts them every time. A series of thrilling cat-and-mouse games begin until they finally catch the killer.
