Arkade Developers IPO: 27x Subscription Boom by Day 3!

Arcade Developers’ IPO Surges Ahead with Strong Investor Interest

Mumbai-based Arcade Developers, a prominent player in the real estate sector, is witnessing remarkable enthusiasm from investors for its Initial Public Offering (IPO). As of September 18, the IPO has been subscribed 27.06 times, indicating robust demand for the shares offered. The price band for this public issue is set between Rs 121 and Rs 128, with the company aiming to raise a substantial Rs 410 crore through this venture.

Subscription Performance and Investor Segments

The latest subscription data reveals that investors have purchased a staggering 64.34 crore equity shares as of September 18, surpassing the total offer size by 2.37 times. Notably, non-institutional investors, particularly high net worth individuals, have shown exceptional interest, applying for shares 53.21 times the allotted quota. In contrast, retail investors have also displayed strong participation, securing 31.04 times the shares reserved for them, showcasing a healthy appetite for investment in real estate.

Qualified Institutional Buyers and Employee Engagement

On the other hand, Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) have been relatively less enthusiastic, with this segment recording a subscription of only 0.46 times so far. However, the company’s employees have displayed significant support, purchasing shares at an impressive 27.73 times the quota allocated to them. Arcade Developers has set aside 2 crore equity shares specifically for its employees, indicating the company’s commitment to involving its workforce in its growth journey.

Anchor Book and Pre-IPO Placement Success

The IPO’s success is further bolstered by the Rs 122.4 crore raised through the anchor book, which was launched on September 13. Notable institutional investors such as BNP Paribas Financial Markets, Sant Capital Fund, and Stern Global Fund VCC participated in this phase, which serves as a precursor to broader investor interest. Additionally, Arcade Developers secured Rs 20 crore through pre-IPO placements prior to filing its red herring prospectus, showcasing proactive measures taken by the company to strengthen its financial foundation before going public.

Conclusion

As the public issue is set to close on September 19, Arcade Developers is positioned to leverage the overwhelming response from its diverse investor base. With a well-structured financing strategy and solid backing from various investment segments, the company is poised to make a significant impact on the real estate market while providing an opportunity for investors looking to capitalize on the sector’s growth potential.
