The IPL season begins next week. Players and fans have been counting down to the match, and Dream11 joined them with their new ad campaign titled “Teri Team Mein Kau Hai? (Who’s in your team?)” The ad features some of Bollywood’s biggest stars, Amir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Arbaaz Khan, along with Indian cricket players Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul, and R. Ashwin.
The ad campaign is funny and perfectly teases fans’ excitement, increasing their anticipation and enthusiasm for this IPL season.
Dream11 Ad Campaign, Teri Team Mein Kaun Hai?
The Ad campaign opens in a party-like mood where we see Captain Rohit Sharma and Amir Khan engaged in a conversation. Amir Khans and Ranbir Kapoor’s hurt egos escalate throughout the ad, providing comedic entertainment on screen but setting the subtext for the intensity of IPL matches. Toward the end, the two actors initiate a face-off to provoke each other and proceed to pick their team members. Which consists mainly of cricket players. Their fight reaches an impasse when they decide to settle the score on the field.
The promotional campaign and its 8 following series are directed by filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari. The campaign will air for the entirety of the IPL season on Star Sports, JioHotstar, and various digital and sports channels.
