At present, Amazon employees are required to come into the office three days a week. However, the new policy aims for a full return to the office five days a week. This policy mirrors trends seen across many corporations in the U.S., where companies such as SAP, AT&T, and Dell have also curtailed remote work options and encouraged in-person attendance.

Despite the company’s push for in-office attendance, a significant number of employees express dissatisfaction with the new policies. Many are voicing their concerns through protests and resignations, preferring the flexibility offered by remote work.
