Rajinikanth is back with another mass entertainer action thriller Coolie. As always, the film has been breaking records since its release on 14th August. Already it has crossed Rs 235 cr mark, more are expected on weekends. What are the day-wise collections? Let’s take a look

Superstar Rajinikanth’s movie Coolie: The Powerhouse has made well over Rs 235.67 crores till now. In the first week, it made Rs 229.65 Cr. With the Tamil version making up the majority of collections. In the first week Tamil version made Rs 149.95 cr. followed by Hindi Rs 26.05 and Telugu 51.6 Crores. Yesterday, it made Rs 6.01 Crores, where the Tamil version again took the lead with Rs 3.65 Crores alone. Here’s the day-wise collection report,

The movie has already made history as the first Tamil movie to hit Rs 150 cr worldwide and is still counting.
Ratings on Different Platforms
As of today, 23rd August, Coolie has got a 6.4 rating out of 10 on the movie review website IMDb, with more than 14k reviews. On the other hand, it secured a solid 8.7 out of 10 on the movie ticket booking platform Book My Show, which also with nearly 28k votes.
OTT Release Dates
Reports say, Rajinikanth’s action thrillers’ exclusive digital streaming rights were purchased by Amazon Prime Video. This means it will release on Amazon Prime as OTT. Though the official release date is still unknown, it is likely to be released after 8 weeks of theater release.
