Nothing 3, a new flagship model from the company, is set to launch this year. Nothing made its fans wait 2 years for Nothing Phone 3; it remains to be seen if the upgrades and AI features are worth the wait. CEO Carl Pei hinted at the launch in an X video he posted. The phone will likely launch in July, as the predecessors, Nothing 1 and Nothing 2, followed the July-launch tradition.
Nothing Phone 3: Display and Build
The Phone 3 will retain Nothing’s signature design and outlook and may be made of the same material as Nothing Phone 3a- launched earlier this month (expected). The Phone 3 could have a 6.77-inch 1.5K AMOLED LTPO screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 1600 HBM, and 3000 Peak brightness, ensuring clarity and visibility outdoors.
Water and dust resistance haven’t been confirmed yet. However, the predecessors, Phones 1 and 2, featured IP 54 and IP 68, respectively. These IP ratings may sustain dust and water splashes but will not survive a submersion.
Nothing Phone 3 Camera
Photographers may find the rumors of Nothing Phone 3’s camera setup very tempting. The three-camera combination on the back could offer a 50MP Main Sensor, 50MP Ultra-Wide Lens, and 50MP Periscope Telephoto Lens with 3x Optical Zoom. The selfie camera could contain a 50 MP lens or a 32 MP lens.
Nothing Phone 3 Battery and Charging
The Phone 3 could potentially be backed by a 5,000mAh battery and supported by 65W fast charging. The phone may also support 50W fast wired charging and 20W wireless charging.
Nothing Phone 3 Processor and Operating System
The device is rumored to run with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, ensuring flagship-level performance. Its 4nm architecture optimizes battery usage while maintaining high speeds. The Phone 3 will easily handle multitasking, video editing, and gaming. The Phone 3 will be supported by Nothing OS 3.0, based on Android 15.
Additional AI Features
CEO Carl Pei confirmed in his X post that Nothing Phone 3 will integrate AI into the operating system. The AI is expected to enhance performance, navigation, and automation. Fans expect AI features in the camera as it ensures stability in recording and night-time recording.
Nothing Phone 3: Expected Pricing
Since it is a flagship phone, the pricing is higher. Based on the variants (undisclosed), the device may range from Rs. 45,000 to 50,000. Final prices may vary after launch.
