Oppo is a Chinese brand that has a huge fan base in India. The smartphone company’s latest line, The F29 and F29 Pro, are launching in India on the 20th of March at 12:00 p.m. Oppo has confirmed its release date and time via a post on X.
The attention-grabbing element of the F29s is the testing process they went through. Oppo was proud of the military-grade MIL-STD-810H-2022 certification and called these phones “durable champions.” The SGS tested the F29 and F29 Pro in India, providing the series with boosted authentication and improved durability.

F29 and F29 Pro flaunt a slim, flat frame of 7.55mm thickness weighing 180 grams. The F29 Pro could have a 6.7-inch Amoled Display and a 120Hz refresh rate. The series features IP66, IP68, and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. Oppo reinforced the protective features of the series by adding an internal frame made of aerospace-grade aluminium alloy, a lens protection ring, a raised corner design cover, and sponge bionic cushioning. Early reports hint at MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC chipset that eagles smooth performance.
OPPO has revealed that the base variant of F29 Pro 5G will be available with 12GB of RAM, and the F29 5G will come with 8GB RAM. Both models will offer up to 256GB of storage.

The F29 Series has a waterproof camera that supports underwater shooting, extending the limits on capturing memories. The Pro series will likely have a 50 MP primary rear camera autofocus and a selfie camera of 16MP.
The F29 Pro 5G will be powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging. The F29 5G will be supported by a larger 6,500mAh battery with a slower 45W SUPERVOOC charging.

The F29 Pro 5G will be available in Granite Black and Marble White. The F29 5G will launch in Glacier Blue and Solid Purple colours.

Though the exact pricing has not officially been confirmed, the price of the F29 series may vary depending on the phone variant. The Oppo F29 Pro 5G could cost under Rs 25,000 in India.
