What is Ajith Kumar’s salary?
When the movie has a star cast like Trisha Krishnan, Regina Cassandra, and Arjun Sarja, Ajith Kumar actor has allegedly charged 105-110 crores. The Tamil actor’s total fee is higher than Vidaamuyarchi’s recovery and performance in theatres!
Vidaamuyarchi making costs and recovery
Purportedly, this Tamil film has spent nearly 185 crores to shoot and launch it in theatres. Of the humongous amount, the film has only recovered 43.4% so far (₹80.35 crores). Judging by the direction of the movie, there is very little hope that Vidaamuyarchi will be able to improve its recovery. When the loss is almost 102 crores, it is astonishing to see that Ajith Kumar is charging nearly 6% higher than the gains.
Especially when his movie failed to win back its investment. Ajith Kumar has yet to decide whether to let go of the remuneration and cut down on his charges or wait till the end to see how it all plays out.
