Vivo X200 Series Launching October 14: Power-Packed with Dimensity 9400!

Vivo is set to unveil its latest smartphone series, the Vivo X200, in the Chinese market on October 14 at 7 PM. This exciting launch will introduce a trio of models powered by the advanced MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, which boasts a significant upgrade over previous generations. Notably, this chipset is the first in the Android ecosystem to utilize a 3nm processor manufactured by TSMC, promising enhanced performance and efficiency.

Vivo X200 Series Features

The MediaTek Dimensity 9400 integrates the new Arm Cortex-X925 Prime CPU core, delivering an impressive 36% improvement in performance along with a 41% increase in AI processing capabilities compared to its predecessor, the Cortex-X4. It is also equipped with the Mali-G925-Immortalis MC12 GPU, recognized as Arm’s most powerful and efficient graphics processor to date. In benchmarking tests, this GPU achieved a remarkable 134fps in the GFXBench Aztec 1440P off-screen Vulkan test, outperforming competitors like the A18 Pro by 86% and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 by 41%.

Vivo X200 Series Specifications

The Vivo X200 series will encompass three distinct models: Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini. These models will be the first smartphones to feature the Dimensity 9400 processor. Notably, the X200 Pro Satellite Edition has already scored an impressive over 3 million on AnTuTu, marking it as the first Android flagship to reach such heights.

Camera Capabilities

One of the standout features of the X200 series is its superior camera system, promising an enhanced photography experience. The series will reinstate the periscope telephoto lens, which was previously lauded in the Vivo X100 Ultra. The X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini will boast the Sony LYT818 f/1.57 23mm primary camera, while the X200 Pro Mini is anticipated to include a specialized 70mm mid-telephoto periscope lens for exceptional optical zoom capabilities.

The standard Vivo X200 will feature a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary camera and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 telephoto camera. Across the board, all three models are expected to include a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 lens designed for ultra-wide-angle shots, ensuring versatility and quality in photography.
