Shivangi Joshi Addresses ‘Anupama’ Rumors

Shivangi Joshi, best known for her role as Naira Goenka in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, recently became the subject of speculation regarding her involvement in ‘Anupama’. Reports suggested that she was being considered as a replacement for Rupali Ganguly. To put these rumors to rest, Shivangi took to her Instagram story, stating, ‘Hello everyone, the news of my being a part of ‘Anupama’ has come. I thought I should make it clear that I am not doing the show and put an end to all these rumours. Changes in the Cast: Toshu Exits the Show

The cast of ‘Anupama’ is witnessing significant changes, especially after the departure of Sudhanshu Pandey and Madalsa Sharma. Gaurav Sharma, who portrayed Toshu in the series, has also announced his exit. In a conversation with Bombay Times, Gaurav expressed his feelings about leaving the show, saying, ‘I don’t think I can play the role of a 21-year-old father on screen after the leap. I think it’s time to move on. One cannot play a role older than one’s actual age.’ He further mentioned that he had felt typecast due to his negative portrayal on the show, which influenced his decision to leave. Gaurav expressed gratitude towards the show’s creators for understanding his perspective and allowing him to move on.
