I thought I should make it clear that I am not doing the show and put an end to all these rumours. I always give love and best wishes to the team.’ Shivangi’s confirmation indicates that she will not be joining the cast of ‘Anupama’, much to the relief of her fans.
Changes in the Cast: Toshu Exits the Show
The cast of ‘Anupama’ is witnessing significant changes, especially after the departure of Sudhanshu Pandey and Madalsa Sharma. Gaurav Sharma, who portrayed Toshu in the series, has also announced his exit. In a conversation with Bombay Times, Gaurav expressed his feelings about leaving the show, saying, ‘I don’t think I can play the role of a 21-year-old father on screen after the leap. I think it’s time to move on. One cannot play a role older than one’s actual age.’ He further mentioned that he had felt typecast due to his negative portrayal on the show, which influenced his decision to leave. Gaurav expressed gratitude towards the show’s creators for understanding his perspective and allowing him to move on.
