Unlocking Government Benefits: Yogi’s Guidelines for Schools to Educate Kids

The government of Uttar Pradesh has introduced a significant initiative aimed at enhancing the education experience in its secondary schools. As part of this initiative, students in government secondary schools will be made increasingly aware of the various schemes offered by both the central and state government. This new directive, issued by the Director of Secondary Education, is set to take effect in the current academic session and will be subject to regular inspections by the education department.

Daily Prayer Meetings and School Activities

Under these guidelines, secondary schools will conduct daily prayer meetings lasting 15 minutes. These meetings will include the recitation of pledges, sharing of inspiring thoughts, a forum for questions and answers, discussions of major news, and the singing of the national anthem. Furthermore, students will also be briefed on recent events that showcase the accomplishments and pride of the nation.

Encouraging Positive Thinking

As a way to foster a culture of positivity and critical thinking, students will be tasked with writing inspiring thoughts, key news points, and questions on the school’s notice board each day. Additionally, the Naya Savera program will allow education officers to engage with students over a two-week period, discussing important topics such as values, discipline, career options, and daily routines. The school will also invite former students and successful professionals from various fields to share their experiences and engage with the students.

Empowering Students with Knowledge About Government Schemes

One of the core components of this initiative is to inform students about beneficial government schemes, such as the Sukanya Samridhi Yojana, Chief Minister’s Abhyudaya Yojana, and Chief Minister’s Bal Seva Yojana. The aim is to ensure that students are not only aware of these schemes but also understand how they can benefit from them. The dissemination of this knowledge will be integrated into the daily prayer meetings, reinforcing the importance of these programs.

Make in India Initiative at Examination Centers

Further, the impact of the ‘Make in India’ initiative will be evident at the upcoming board examination centers for 10th and 12th-grade students. All monitoring equipment used during the examinations will be sourced domestically, promoting the use of indigenous products and showcasing the capabilities of local manufacturing. This decision underscores the government’s commitment to fostering a self-reliant economy and instilling national pride in students.

These measures aim not only to enhance the educational landscape but also to engage students with broader societal issues, instilling a sense of responsibility and awareness regarding governance and community welfare. Through these programs, the Yogi government hopes to prepare students to become informed citizens who can contribute positively to society.
