Rohit Tiwari’s complaint led to the registration of an FIR naming Ajit Prasad along with three others โ Raju Yadav, Srikant Rai โ and about 15 unidentified individuals. Tiwari claims he received a cheque for โน1 lakh from Ajit Prasad as part of the deal.

On September 21, Tiwari stated that while he was near the SBI Bank in Civil Lines, he was approached by Ajit Prasad, who arrived in an SUV accompanied by supporter Raju Yadav and 10 to 15 others. Tiwari asserts that he was forcibly taken into the vehicle, where he was assaulted before being abandoned near the tehsil area. Furthermore, the individuals allegedly confiscated the โน1 lakh cheque that had been issued to him.
