100 Days of Modi 3.0: A Milestone for the NDA Government

On September 17, 2024, Union Home Minister Amit Shah commended the “political stability” achieved in India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the NDA government’s third term. In a ceremony that marked the completion of 100 days in office, Shah highlighted the significant developments and achievements that the government has accomplished over the past decade. Alongside Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, he launched a booklet detailing these successes. The BJP, along with various ministries, has rolled out a detailed commemoration plan, including a special ‘Seva Pakhwada’ initiative set to run until October 2.

Key Initiatives and Achievements

Amit Shah emphasized the implementation of the ‘One Nation-One Election’ policy, which aims to streamline the electoral process across India. He noted the collaboration of numerous institutions celebrating PM Modi’s birthday as part of the ‘Seva Pakhwada’, allowing party workers to engage in community service during this period. Highlighting Modi’s humble beginnings and significant achievements, Shah remarked that “140 crore Indians are praying for his long life today.”

Acknowledging Political Stability

   

Shah proclaimed that the NDA government has received a historic mandate for its third term, a phenomenon that has not occurred in the last 60 years. This stability, according to him, has fostered an environment conducive to growth and development throughout the nation. He credited PM Modi with enhancing India’s internal and external security and introducing a new education policy that blends ancient systems with modern practices, also promoting regional languages.

Tax Relief for Middle Class Tax exemption on incomes up to Rs 7 lakh and implementation of the third version of One Rank One Pension (OROP).
Housing Initiatives Approved 3 crore houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, with 1 crore in urban areas and 2 crore in rural areas.
Support for Farmers Increased Minimum Support Price (MSP) for Kharif crops, showing commitment to farmers’ welfare.
Infrastructure Development Launched projects such as Bangalore Metro and Pune Metro, along with substantial financial distributions to farmers.

Continued Development Initiatives

Amit Shah also detailed plans to enhance tourism through upgrades to airports like Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi and construction of new airstrips. Additionally, a scheme to connect 25,000 villages with concrete roads at a cost of Rs 49,000 crores was announced, benefiting communities with a population of 100 or more.

100 Days of Achievements in Numbers

In a culmination of efforts during the first 100 days, projects worth approximately Rs 15 lakh crores have been launched, with Rs 3 lakh crores specifically allocated to infrastructure. Amit Shah categorized these efforts into 14 key pillars, indicating a structured approach to governance and development.
