In this reshuffle, Principal Secretary of Agriculture, Ravindra, has been appointed to take on additional responsibilities as the Director of the State Agricultural Production Market Council. Meanwhile, Bhanu Chandra Goswami, the former District Magistrate of Agra, is now tasked with the duties of Relief Commissioner, Consolidation Commissioner, and Special Secretary for Revenue.

Background of Previous Transfers

This is not the first instance of significant officer transfers in the state. Earlier in July 2023, several Indian Police Service (IPS) officers were also reassigned. Key changes included Rajesh Kumar Singh being made the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Kanpur Nagar and Shyam Narayan Singh appointed as Superintendent of Police in Etah, among others.
