Today, on 25th March 2025, the Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineering or GRSE Share Price witnessed a 5% climb in its share price. The surge followed its contract with Hamburg’s Carsten Rehder Schiffsmakler and Reederei GmbH & Co. KG.
The contract assigned GRSE the project to build the 7th and 8th Multi-Purpose Vessel (MPV) of 7,500 DWT in Hamburg, Germany. GRSE said the MPVs will be 120 metres long and 17 metres wide each. They carry a maximum draft of 6.75 metres and can take on 7,500 metric tonnes of cargo. A cargo hold to accommodate bulk will be constructed in the vessels.

The stock jumped 5% and hit the day high of Rs. 1,790. It’s 2% higher than the opening bell rate of Rs. 1,754.55. At 10:32 a.m., GRSE traded its shares for Rs. 1,721.50 each. It is nearly 1.9% higher than the opening rate. And almost 1% higher than its previous close rate of 1,704.55. According to the reports and estimates on Money Control, the current market capitalization shows 19,680 cores; the UC Limit is 2,045.45, and the LC Limit is 1,363.65.
Company Financials
As per the reports, GRSE recorded Rs. 1,271.01 crore in revenue, 37.69% up from Rs. 923.10 crore in the previous fiscal year. The net profit after tax (PAT) grew 11% year-on-year to Rs. 98 crore in Q3 FY 2024-25. GRSE also declared an interim dividend of Rs. 8.95 per share for FY 24-25.
