Vivo has launched its two flagship models, X200 Ultra and X200s, in China. The smartphone will feature the latest Snapgragon 8 Elite chipset and amazing features. What are the specifications, and how much is it going to cost? Let’s find out.
Vivo X200 Ultra and X200 S Display and Build
The Vivo X200 Ultra model has a big screen of 6.82″, it is an AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Meanwhile, the X200S model will carry a slightly shorter screen of 6.67″. This display also has a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. Both phones could have aluminium alloy in their frames, and they come with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Vivo X200 Ultra and X200 S Battery
The upcoming Vivo X200 Ultra will have a battery of 6,000mAh, while the X200 S will have a bigger 6,200mAh battery. The bigger batteries of these smartphones will allow the users to operate the phone for longer durations without worrying about draining the battery. Additionally, the Ultra model also has 90W fast wired charging and 40W wireless charging.
Vivo X200 Ultra and X200 S Camera
Both the latest Vivos have a triple camera set up on the rear. The Ultra model houses a 50MP Sony LYT-818 primary sensor, a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP9 periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. The selfie camera slot hosts a 50 MP lens.
The Vivo X200 S, however, has 50MP sensors, including a Zeiss-branded IMX882 super-telephoto lens with a Zeiss T coating and proprietary image enhancement technology. The front panel carries a 32 MP selfie camera.
Vivo has also introduced a photography kit for the Ultra model. The additional kit will include a 2.35x teleconverter lens, USB-C grip, straps, case, and an additional battery of 2,300mAh. These camera features are truly a treat for photography enthusiasts.
Vivo X200 Ultra and X200 S Processor and Operating System
The smartphones will run on OriginOS based on Android 15 (Chinese version), global versions, with the expectation of FunTouch OS 15 included. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset will support the Ultra model. In contrast, the S model will have a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset with an Icefield liquid cooling system under the hood.
Vivo X200 Ultra and X200 S Pricing In India
Vivo has yet to confirm the launch of the Vivo X200 Ultra and X200 S outside of China. Depending on the storage variant, the prices will vary. In China, the price of the Ultra model ranges from CNY 6,499 to CNY 7,999. If Vivo decides to launch the X200 Ultra and X200 S, reports say the prices could be as follows:
- 12GB RAM + 256GB storage may be sold at approximately Rs. 75,500
- 16GB RAM + 512GB storage could be sold for approximately Rs. 84,000
- 16GB RAM + 1TB storage will be more expensive and in the range of 90,000-95,000
- The photography kit edition could cost approximately. Rs. 1,13,000
- The X200 S model will be comparatively cheaper, and could begin at Rs. 48,500
