Q4 Financials

UCO Bank released its fourth quarter financial results on 28th April. The data reported that the company’s Net Profit was Rs. 665.72 crore, indicating a 24% YoY increase. ​The company’s Total Income was Rs. 8,136 crore, up from Rs. 6,984 crore in Q4 FY24. Its Net Interest Income (NII) stood at Rs. 2,698 crore, a rise of 23.35% YoY. ​UCO’s Operating Profit was Rs. 1,699 crore, up 33.48% YoY. The Net Interest Margin (NIM) was reported as 3.08% for FY25, compared to 2.92% in FY24.

Recent News About UCO Bank

  • Subject to shareholder approval, the Board of Directors suggested a final dividend of Rs 0.39 per share for FY25.  This dividend is scheduled to be recorded on 9th May 2025.
  • UCO Bank would issue up to Rs. 270 crore of new equity shares in FY26 to meet SEBI’s minimum public shareholding requirements. With this action, the government’s stake will drop from 90.95% to 75%.  ​
  • The action comes after the lender raised Rs 2,000 crore through a successful Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) in the March quarter, which decreased the government’s ownership stake from 95.39 percent to 90.95 percent.
  • The entire issuance might be worth about Rs 8,000 crore at the market price of about Rs 31 per share. The bank increased its capital adequacy in the most recent QIP by distributing shares to various investors.
