Occupancy in Cinemas
The Hindi version of ‘Thug Life’ is performing better than the Tamil versions. Last Friday, Tamil version’s overall occupancy was 17.43% where whereas Hindi version got 20.36%. It has most screens in Chennai and Coimbatore on the 10th day.
Thug Life OTT Release Date
Initially, it was reported that the movie’s digital streaming rights were taken by Netflix for a whopping Rs 130 crores. But as the movie hasn’t been able to cross the Rs 50 Cr mark in 9 days, Netflix has asked for a price cut. So, there is no confirmed dates available for ‘Thug Life’ to stream on OTTs. Budget and Cast Fees
The movie is reportedly made with a budget of Rs 300 Cr. Where Kamal Haasan didn’t take any fees as he is a co-producer of the film. Trisha Krishnan got 12 Cr, which is 4X her usual fees. Apart from her, Silambarasan TR got Rs 40 Cr, Ashok Selvan got Rs 1 Cr, Joju George got Rs 1 Cr, and Abhirami got Rs 50 lakhs for the film.
