Fans’ Reaction To Thudarum
Thudarum is a unique picture in Mohanlal’s career, as many said it was a much-needed break away from his commercial film. His recent hit, Empuraan, Lucifer’s second part, created box office history for the Malayalam movie industry. Thudarum, however, is a stark contrast to Empuraan, and fans love the cast’s talent and the representation of the story.
A review said, “Thudarum is one of those rare Malayalam movies that genuinely touches your heart while keeping you completely gripped. Tharun Moorthy has delivered a beautifully crafted revenge thriller…” Another said, “Thudarum is a heartwarming gift to every true Mohanlal fan. It’s not just another film—it’s a nostalgic return to the Mohanlal we all fell in love with during the glorious 80s and 90s.”
Many felt that the movie replicates the spirit of Drishyam in its emotions and core, which are structured around family and relationships. A review said, “…feels like a knockoff of Drishyam…all muscle, no story…”
