About The Diplomat: Story And Cast

Written by Ritesh Shah and directed by Shivam Nair, known for his works in Naam Shabana and Bhaag Johnny, The Diplomat is based on a true story. The events unfold in Pakistan. An Indian girl, Uzma Ahmed, approaches the Diplomat, JP Singh, and tells him that she was deceived and forced into marrying a Pakistani man. JP Singh makes it his mission to rescue the girl and send her back to India.

Actors John Abraham, Saida Khateeb and Prapti Shukla play leading key roles. Kumud Mishra, Sharib Hashmi, Jagjeet Sandhu, Vidhatri Bandi, Amitoj Mann and Bhawani Muzamil portray supporting yet pivotal roles.
