TV star Aditi Sharma, who is popular for her lead role in Apollena in Apollenea: Sapno Ki Udaan, is getting a divorce. She and her husband, Abhineet Kaushik, had a secret ceremony in November 2024, which was announced on social media by Rakesh Shetty, a legal consultant.
This secret wedding is soon to reach the finish line. The actress is being accused of infidelity and is allegedly demanding Rs. 25 lakhs from Abhineet Kaushik as a divorce settlement.
What Happened Between Aditi Sharma and Abhishek Kaushik?
Abhineet was accompanied by his legal counsel, Rakesh Shetty, who spoke to India Forums about the short-lived marriage and how this disastrous turn came to be. Abhineet mentioned that Aditi demanded and stressed a secret wedding because a marriage could damage her career.
“She was after me to get married for the past one and a half years. But I wasn’t prepared. Then after sometime, I agreed. However, she insisted that no one could know because marriage was a taboo in the industry.”
The legal counsel, Rakesh Shetty, mentioned that Abhineet and Aditi had been in a live-in relationship for 6 years and planned to move to a 5BHK residence.
Aditi Sharma’s Cheating Allegations
Rakesh Shetty said Aditi and Abhineet’s marriage took a drastic turn when Abhineet accused Aditi of infidelity and pointed out her relationship with co-star Samarthya Shukla. Shetty revealed that people on the Apollena set knew about Aditi’s relationship with Samarthya.
“She’d just begun shooting for the show. Even the producer, Karishma, was aware of this situation. Abhineet discovered Aditi and Samarthya together, which led to a heated altercation.”
Abhineet said that Aditi hadn’t treated their marriage like a real one and had told him that their marriage was not “legally binding” and called it “a mock trial.” During their interview with the India Forums, Shetty divulged an incident involving police officers. Allegedly, both parties got hurt.
“They insisted on divorce and, during a meeting arranged by lawyers, Aditi’s side demanded 25 lakh. Then things took a violent turn when her father slapped Abhineet, and Aditi got hurt during that time.”
Will Apollena Production Stop?
Actress Aditi Sharma stated that Apollena will end as planned and that the final episode will air on March 15th. She said that shooting for the serial has been wrapped.
