Samsung has just launched its latest Galaxy A series smartphones. The models in this series are Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26. This marks a significant step forward in the mid-range segment. These devices are designed to offer advanced features at affordable prices, making them highly appealing to Indian consumers.
Key Features and Specifications of Samsung New A Series
All three models will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This will ensur a smooth and vibrant visual experience. They also feature an IP67 rating, providing protection against dust and water. The device will have a 5,000mAh battery for extended usage.
Galaxy A56: Powered by the Exynos 1580 processor, it offers 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. It will support 45W fast charging and features a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro sensor. The A56 is priced at around ₹44,000 for the base model and will cost more for higher variants.
Galaxy A36: Equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, it offers up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It also supports 45W fast charging and features a similar camera setup to the A56, except for an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The A36 is priced starting at Rs 35000.
Galaxy A26: This device will be Powered by the Exynos 1380 processor, it offers 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD. It supports 25W fast charging and includes a 3.5mm headphone jack. The A26 is priced at Rs 26000 for the base model.
AI and Software Updates
Three of these smartphones come with Android 15 and One UI 7 out of the box. It will also offer 6 years of OS updates and security patches. They also feature Awesome Intelligence, Samsung’s AI-powered tools designed to enhance user experience with advanced search and creativity features.
Pricing and Availability in India
International prices have already been announced by Samsung. It is expected to reveal the Indian pricing soon. Though the pricing has not revealed it it expected to price from Rs 26000 to Rs 44000.
