Retro Movie Review
“Retro” (2025), directed by means of Karthik Subbaraj, is a stylish Tamil motion-romance led by Suriya’s riveting performance as Paarivel, a gangster in search of redemption. His excessive charisma, paired with Shreyaas Krishna’s brilliant cinematography and Santhosh Narayanan’s dynamic rating, elevates the 1990s aesthetic, especially in a beautiful single-take movement series. However, the plot stumbles in the 2nd half, with a convoluted blend of cults and subplots overshadowing the love story.
