Retro Storyline & Cast
Retro is an action-packed Tamil drama directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The story follows Suriya as a former gangster who has left his violent past in the back of because of a promise made to his spouse. However, circumstances pressure him to break his vow and go back to his old approaches to shield his own family from looming threats.
Suriya stars as Paarivel “Paari” Kannan, with Pooja Hegde as his love interest, Rukmini. Joju George performs the antagonist Thilagan, supported by Jayaram and Nassar. The movie is directed by Karthik Subbaraj, marking his first collaboration with Suriya.
