Ajay Devgn’s one of the most anticipated films, Raid 2, has been released in theaters on Labour Day (1st May). Since then, it has become a Bollywood sensation. Already in just 5 days, it has managed to cross Rs 79 Crores and hopes to bag the first Rs 100 by the weekend.

In just 5 days, the movie Raid 2 has collected Rs 79 cr at the box office. That is a great success. Even on the first weekend, it made more than the opening day. Last Sunday’s collection alone was Rs 22 cr. Here’s the day-wise collection.

The Story and Its Characters
The movie Raid 2 tells us about another Raid against corrupt politician Dada Bhai, who has made his empire with black money. Ajay Devgn aka Amay Patnayaik brings raids on his house, factory, and Ashram and fails on the first attempt and gets suspended. Then he starts flipping the game and finally found out more than Rs 500 Crores of ‘Kala Dhan’.
Ajay Devgn can be seen as IRS Officer Amay Patnaik. But while the Raid movie has Illeana D’Cruz as Amay’s wife, Raid 2 has Vaani Kapoor. Apart from them, Ritesh Deshmukh is seen as the main villain, Dada Bhai. Other important cast are Saurabh Shukla, Rajat Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, and Amit Sial.

As of today, 6th April Raid 2 has got 7.9 stars out of 10 on IMDb with more than 21K reviews. Also, on Book My Show platform it has got a solid 8.3 stars out of 10 with more than 20.5k reviews.
