Story and Cast
Directed by Rajkumar Gupta, Raid 2 is the sequel to the 2018 release Raid. It has proven to be a blockbuster this time too. Seven years after the first film, IRS officer Amay Patnaik (Ajay Devgn) targets corrupt politician Dada Manohar Bhai in Rajasthan. Despite being suspended, Patnaik, with help from his wife and Dada’s mother, relentlessly pursues justice. The tense battle exposes deep-rooted corruption, forcing Dada to surrender and setting up future conflicts. The film blends intense action with a gripping cat-and-mouse chase, keeping viewers hooked till the very end.
Ajay Devgn leads as IRS officer Amay Patnaik, supported by Vaani Kapoor as his wife. Riteish Deshmukh plays the powerful antagonist, Dada Manohar Bhai. The cast also includes Supriya Pathak, Saurabh Shukla, and Rajat Kapoor, adding depth to the story. Special appearances by Tamannaah Bhatia and Jacqueline Fernandez add extra flair to this high-stakes crime drama.
Raid 2 OTT Release
Reports say the film’s digital streaming rights have been sold to Netflix for a whopping Rs 80 Crores. It will be available to watch on OTT in early June 2025. The next big release of Ajay Devgn is ‘Son of Sardar 2’ which will be released on 25th July 2025.
